Change starts with you...

Hinz Psychology Clinic adopts a holistic approach when treating individuals. We believe in person-centred care and utilise evidence-based interventions to empower individuals to regain control of their lives. We assist you in developing skills and greater insight into understanding your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, whilst examining the factors that may be influencing or maintaining such behaviours. This will assist in increasing your resilience and ability to cope with daily stressors more effectively.

Here we are passionate about helping individuals become the best version of themselves. We work with patients experiencing mental health challenges and daily stressors to help them feel better equip to thrive across various seasons life may pose. We believe in the importance of empowering individuals and assisting them in developing a more enriched understanding of themselves and their behaviours. We help our patients understand what - their goals are in therapy, why - they may respond or behave the way they do in certain situations  and how - to better improve the situation to lead to the most effective outcome.

We offer Telehealth consultations over the phone or video via Coviu. This allows patients greater access to support in the convenience of their own home or from any location. We practice in accordance with the ethical codes and standards set by the Australian Psychological Society (APS). We aim to deliver our best to our patients and see it as an honour to be entrusted with the opportunity to assist.

“The most important aspect of therapy is exploring the patient holistically and developing an effective therapeutic alliance."

- Deborah Hinz
