Mrs. Deborah Triatmodjo Hinz B.Psych, M.ProfPsych; MAPS
Deborah is a Registered Psychologist under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Deborah holds a Bachelor of Psychology and a Master of Professional Psychology and is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). She is also a registered Medicare Provider, Department of Veterans Affairs service provider, NDIS Service Provider and Work Cover accredited, authorised to deliver treatment under the worker's compensation system.
She has experience working with patients across a broad range of psychiatric conditions including; Depression, Anxiety, Self-Harm, Complex Trauma, Personality Disorders, Attachment, Eating Disorders, Developmental Disabilities and significant challenging behaviours across both individual and larger group therapy settings. She has seen a broad range of patients with significant treatment-resistant conditions, using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness-based approaches.
Deborah has worked in various settings including psychiatric hospitals, private practice, and neuro stimulation clinics. She has a strong interest in working with Personality Disorders such as Borderline Personality Disorder, as well as mood disorders. She is also interested in relationship difficulties and couples therapy.
Outside of private practice, Deborah has an interest in neuropsychology and is experienced in the area of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Therapy in treating Treatment Resistant Depression and other psychiatric conditions. She is currently the Clinical Director at TMS Clinics Australia.
Deborah is passionate about improving the wellbeing of her patients and believes in a person-centred approach. She believes the most important aspect of therapy is exploring the patient holistically and creating an effective therapeutic alliance. Deborah welcomes patients to Hinz Psychology Clinic.
